A Few Announcements

Events Today in the Community

There are a couple of education-centered events in the community today that you might be interested in attending.

  • From 4:00 - 5:00p, at the Jeffrey Boy's Club, students and parents are invited to learn more about Future School of Fort Smith, the (just-approved) charter high school that will open in the fall 2016.

  • Tonight at 7:30p, Noble Impact, the Future School, and the University of Arkansas at Fort Smith will present a screening of "Most Likely to Succeed." Produced by Ted Dintersmith, this film explores the future of education and has received rave reviews. Mr. Dintersmith will hold a Q & A session afterward. "Most Likely to Succeed" is being shown at the Windgate Fine Arts Building on the UAFS campus.

Fall Family Feast

If your child has a Montessori t-shirt, they should wear it on Friday for the FFF performance. The last of this year's t-shirts are supposed to be delivered after lunch today, so they should go home today!

We do still have a few of the "Montessori Roots" t-shirts from this year and the "flag" t-shirts from last year for sale. They will be available tomorrow in the office if you are interested. All are short sleeve and are $15/each.
