Colin Powell Parent Newsletter

BETTER TOGETHER
As a school, it is our responsibility to partner with parents and the community to make sure that the needs of students are being met everyday. In order to do that, we need to connect with parents through positive communication. Keeping parents informed is a yearlong responsibility, but it is one that has the potential to make an affirmative difference in your child's educational experience. The purpose of this newsletter is to keep you connected and to inform you of school policies and upcoming events on campus.
- PLEASE drop off & pick up students in the designated areas. DO NOT have students crossing the street by jay-walking. It is VERY DANGEROUS for students to get dropped off or picked up in the middle of the street.
- STUDENTS NEED TO BE PICKED UP AFTER SCHOOL. If they are not in WRAP, or a school sponsored activity, they must be picked up at the end of the school day. They can not be on campus outside of school hours unattended.
- DRIVE SLOW through the drop off/pick up zone, children are walking.
- DO NOT park in handicap parking spots or double park.
