Science Olympiad Takes 6th in the Nation
After earning 2nd place in Illinois, Marie Murphy's SciOly team finished 6th in the United States in the nationwide competition this weekend at Wichita State University in Kansas, finishing ahead of 94 other teams.
Always winning above our weight, it should be noted that Marie Murphy's enrollment is typically smaller than other schools in the top 10 by at least a factor of 2, if not more.
Congrats to all of our students, our staff coaches Jim Gravagna, Darren Persino, and Joyce Kim, and our army of parent/guardian coaches and volunteers. It truly is a collective effort, and one that should make our whole community proud.

Registration is Open - Bus Fees & Supply Lists Too
- If your student is riding the bus to school next year, the deadline to register without a late penalty is June 30th. There will be a bus registration cutoff date in August so that routes can be fashioned. Anyone registering after the August cutoff will not be able to sign up for the bus until after Labor Day.
And Don't Forget - The Last Day of School is Tuesday, June 13th
