Pleasant Valley Family Newsletter
May 7, 2021
Our mission is to empower and inspire a community of lifelong learners and leaders!
Hello Pleasant Valley Families,
Thank you for all of the emails, signs, tweets, and treats from our PTA in honor of our PV teachers for Teacher Appreciation Week! They truly are an extraordinary team!
Our Title I Team of teachers has been planning our PV Book of the Year! Our book is Friendship According to Humphrey by Betty G. Birney. Look for further information from your child's classroom teacher.
Please remember that if COVID-19 has impacted your child by either testing positive or being a primary contact to someone who has, you must keep them home and notify our nursing staff of the next steps. It goes without saying that any students exhibiting symptoms should remain home for at least 24 hours until symptom-free. Towards the end of this newsletter is a link to our Health and Safety Plan. Our nursing staff can be reached at 440-843-1531.
As always, I want to thank you for your partnership with Pleasant Valley! We are very appreciative of all of you! Should you ever have any questions, concerns, or just a great idea you would like to share, please send me an email at bokas@parmacityschools.org or call the main office at 440.885.2380.
Very Sincerely,
Mrs. Stephanie Boka

This year our PV teachers and staff will be organizing and running numerous fun events for students to participate in with their individual classes. Due to Covid, we will not be asking for outside volunteers. Field Day will be broken up into an AM and PM session and last approximately 2 hours. Please make sure to send your child with a water bottle that day.
