Distance Learning Academy K-5

Weekly Update - February 5

K-5 DLA families,

February can be a tough month for all of us. The good news is that it is the shortest month and just around the corner is Spring. However, you will not be able to tell by the forecast this weekend. Take the opportunity this weekend as we stay inside to escape the cold to sit down and read a book with your child. It is a wonderful experience to get lost in a book with your child.

Thank you to the families that are taking advantage of our on-site support. We encourage more students to participate in this opportunity. We do ensure that we are safe and distant during our times together. Remember to:

  • Wear your mask over your nose and your mouth.
  • Wash your hands.
  • Keep distance between you and friends. We are looking for 6 feet between students and staff.

Doing these simple things will keep us all safe and healthy.
