IMPORTANT NOTES:
- Middle School students will have a designated time to participate in Knight Fest from 3:30-5:15.
- The Knightfest will take place behind Pfeiffer's Merner Gymnasium and students will be escorted to that location after dismissal. In order to stay for this event, an admission wristband must be purchased in advance for $10.
- Middle school students not staying for the homecoming soccer game will be escorted back to the middle school building for dismissal shortly before 5:15.

Athletics Update
Athletic Passes are a great way for our middle school students (and families) to attend ALL athletic events at Gray Stone. These are purchased online at tickets.graystoneday.org. Single game tickets are also available if that fits your needs better. Reach out if you have questions.
Go Knights!
Knights Families,
Here are a few helpful reminders about how athletics work for students/spectators at Gray Stone.
ADMISSION
Tickets or passes are needed for volleyball and soccer in the fall. Tickets or passes are DIGITAL only - no cash is accepted at the gate. They may be purchased on GoFan 5 ways:
graystoneday.org - under athletics
GoFan.co - search gray stone
GoFan App
scan QR code at the game & purchase on your device
*IF you can access your ticket or pass on your phone, that's all you need.
*Students (or fans) who do not have tech access to the ticket (no phone, etc)... purchase at home in advance, and print your ticket. If you purchase a pass (all sports for all year) send me your receipt and I'll get you a paper pass.
STUDENT EXPECTATIONS
Students staying to attend events will be dismissed at 3:25 to the Commons. They must sit in the Commons until released to the event (usually around 4:00). They will not be permitted back into the MS building - so they must take their belongings with them. Students should be picked up from events at the conclusion of the event - this process is up to you.
Students staying must attend the event. Students may not roam in the building(s) (nor other random places - Pfeiffer, Richfield, etc.) when we have events. Any students that do not follow these expectations could lose the privilege to attend future after school events.
We are excited for a fun fall sports season! Thanks for your cooperation!
Let us know if you have questions.
Go Knights!

Mobile Phone Policy
Students in the middle school are not permitted to use mobile phones during the instructional day unless given direct permission to do so by a teacher or staff member. This means mobile phones should remain in lockers or in backpacks and TURNED OFF or set on SILENT so no notifications or sounds disturb instruction. Yes, this also includes lunch time. We want students to learn how to talk to each other face to face and build friendships during these social times as opposed to having their focus on a screen.
If a student needs to call home, they need to notify a teacher and can use the office phone to make the call. In efforts to protect instructional time, if you need to reach your child, you can call the front office 704.463.0567 to leave a message for them or to notify that you need to speak to your child.
If students have a phone out at any time during the instructional day without permission they will be given a warning and asked to put away the phone. If it becomes a repeated offense, the device will be taken and held in the the front office for the day. In some situations, a parent/guardian will be notified and asked to come to the office to retrieve the phone.
