Dear Parents and Families,
We had a great time this week, dressing up for the Timber Creek Homecoming! Next week, we have the book fair and our Fall Picture day!
Also, if you are looking for ways to help our campus this year, we are looking for great substitute teachers! If you feel called to help in this area, click on this link to apply online. We already have a few parents who have joined our ranks and I hope that even more will join us!

Scholastic Book Fair : September 17 - September 24
Yearbook Picture Day - September 23
Lifetouch Photography will be at Timberview on Thursday, September 23 taking yearbook photos. Students will visit the cameras with their Advisory teachers. Order forms and reminders will be sent home and should be sent to school with your child on picture day. Please note that this year, there will only be ONE makeup/retake photo day on Tuesday, November 2. If you have any questions, please contact Angela Wilson (angela.wilson@kellerisd.net).
NetSmartz Internet Safety presentations on Sept. 28
NetSmartz®
This program is an interactive, educational safety resource developed by the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children® and the Boys and Girls Clubs of America, which teaches children and teens how to stay safe on the Internet. Netsmartz is available for Kindergarten through High School aged students.
Please see the Informational Flyer and Opt Out form below. This program will be presented to grades 5-8 on Thursday, September 28th.
Battle of the Books for 5th & 6th Grade Students
If your child is in 5th or 6th grade, he/she is eligible to participate in Battle of the Books! Battle of the Books is a competition revolving around 10 books that everyone reads. We will have an informational meeting from 8:00-8:25 in the library on Thursday, September 30 for anyone who is interested. Coming to the meeting does not mean your child HAS to participate. They are welcome to come and hear about it before deciding if it is a good fit! Ready to sign up? Please fill out the attached permission slip to join!
