Leadership Binders
How are you using your data binders this year? How can you have students track their goals and know their ABCs - Attendance - Behavior - Content? Will these goals be visible and easy for your students to see and understand and track? Will parents see and own part of this data and how can you communicate that part of the students success is their attendance and behaviors? Does your team have an unified goal and expectation?
Thank you for taking time to make these binders meaningful for students' success! Share out your great ideas and forms with one another - you will have some team time at our first meeting.
Committee Sign Up
Here is the committee sign up form! Thank you for considering supporting our school!
Back to School Faculty Meeting
We will meet at 1:00 in the library and will be done by 4:00 (hopefully sooner) but it is a 3 hour PD time. You shouldn't need to bring anything. There will be important forms and handbooks provided to you that day so be sure to find a good place to keep throughout the year to use as needed and have available for subs as needed.
Blue Tickets
We will give out blue tickets for great behavior and strong leadership characteristics (tickets will be put in your box soon). Be sure to familiarize yourself with the 7 (now 8) Habits of Highly Effective People and as often as possible teach and share these habits with students. We will talk more at our back to school meeting on how Celebration Assemblies will go and the use of tickets. If you need a book to read about The Leader in Me let me know and I can put in your box - there is also a lot of on line resources - this connects to our mission statement and feedback from the staff last spring expressed the desire to continue on with this focus. Also, check out YouTube for great songs or ideas to talk about with the habits as well.
