Yes to Youth Counseling

Bear Branch Intermediate School is partnering with the Yes to Youth organization to help meet the needs of our students. Yes to Youth is a privately funded organization that provides a variety of services to our youth and their families. We are offering group counseling sessions to students who would like to participate. Counseling sessions will be confidential in order for students to feel comfortable, and counselors will only share information from group sessions with parents as required by state law to protect their safety. Participation is voluntary and you may withdraw your student from the group at any time. If you are interested in your child participating in group counseling sessions, please complete the Yes to Youth Google form by January 26, 2022. In addition to completing the Google form, parents must complete a permission slip specifically for the Yes to Youth counselors. That attachment is below and will also need to be returned to your child's counselor by January 26th, 2022. Sessions will begin on Monday, February 7, 2022.
