The Wright Brothers-The first Inventors of the Airplane
Wilbur and Orville Wright were brothers who came from the American state of Ohio. They were born in the 1800s. Wilbur died at the age of 45 and Orville at the age of 76, in 1948. They loved mechanical things, especially bicycles which they fixed.
They flew their airplane on Dec.17, 1903, proving it was possible to fly an airplane heavier than air. They did this in the sand dunes of the American state of North Carolina, near a town called Kitty Hawk.
On December 17, after corrections made to a different runway and the plane of the decrease Hill plateau, rose Aorbil, it was his turn to fly the plane, that day.
The wind speed was high and reduced the prospects for take-off speed of 27 mph. The plane began its journey when Wilbur follows the takeoff. The plane got off the ground, and a few seconds later photographed image has become the most famous.
They were national heroes!
