LSC Members for 2021-2022 (REPEAT)
We are looking to fill a couple of spots on our Local School Council (LSC) for the 2021-22 school year. If you are interested, please fill out this interest form by Friday, April 30. So far, we have only heard from one parent that is interested.
Local School Councils (LSCs) are advisory bodies made up of parents, teachers, and community members that provide recommendations to the school principal and Forsyth County Board of Education. Councils meet at least four times a year.
End of Year Message from Nurse Kacey
ATTENTION PARENTS - If your child has medication in the school clinic, please plan to pick up the medication on or before Thursday, May 27th. As is the case each year, any medication that is not picked up by Friday May 28 at 2pm will be disposed of by school staff.
Also, please know that new health care plans are needed every school year, so plan to have your child’s physician fill out and sign new paperwork over the summer in preparation for the 2021-2022 school year.
Nurse Kacey Green will be available at Open House on Tuesday, August 3, to collect medications and care plans and answer any questions you have. Please contact her at any time via email or phone 678-965-5020.
In addition, the clinic is running very low on shorts and pants for both girls and boys of all sizes. If you have any pants that can be donated to us, we would greatly appreciate it! Also, please consider keeping a pair of clean clothes in your child's book bag. This is a good idea for all ages...as sometimes students get muddy at recess and need a change. Thanks!
21-22 Learning Environment Options Survey (LAST CHANCE)

If you have any questions, please check out the District's webpage for more information and definitely check out our specific message for Silver City families to learn more.

Current 5th graders will complete the survey for the MIDDLE SCHOOL they will be attending next year.
Please email one of the administrators – Mr. Sloop, Ms. Carnes, or Ms. Fuchs –
if you have any questions about this survey or the learning options for next year.
Mr. Sloop's Summer Spin (Final Notice)

We have created a wish list of items below. All Oriental Trading items can be shipped directly to the school (Silver City ES, ATTN: Maleah Dickman, 6200 Dahlonega Hwy., Cumming, GA 30028).
