Ticasuk Times Weekly Newsletter

April 12, 2021

Message from the Principal

Dear Ticasuk Community,

Thank you for your help with the parking lot safety issue last week. Your patience is very much appreciated. We are working together to keep our students safe.

Enrollment continues to climb each week. As we get more students enrolled for next year, we are better prepared with the number of staff allocated for our building. Thank you for returning your blue INTENT TO RETURN forms.

Ms. Catherine Pusch has been visiting Ticasuk for a couple hours in the afternoon. It will make for a smooth transition for her in the fall.

Hope to see students in purple on Friday for PURPLE UP DAY! Read below how we are celebrating the Month of Military Child!

This week in Kindergarten!

With all the snow we recently received, the playground has become a building zone for "sand castles" and "houses"! NAPA donated buckets and Garden Shovels this year and the imagination of our students have ran wild.

It's amazing how much stuff we throw away, isn't it? That's why recycling is so important. The paper you recycle today may come back to you next year as a grocery bag or gift-wrapping paper. Kind words are like that too. They never really get thrown away: they just get recycled. When you are kind to others somewhere, somehow, a kindness will come back to you. So, the next time you see a recycling bin, ask yourself this: Am I recycling a little bit of kindness in the world? -Projectwisdom, Inc

Help us show our military students how much we support them and are with them on their journey!
