Biography
Kristin Fontichiaro is a clinical assistant professor at the University of Michigan School of Information. Her most recent edited volumes are Navigating the Information Tsunami: Engaging Research Projects that Meet the Common Core State Standards, K-5 (Cherry Lake, June 2012) and Growing Schools: Librarians as Professional Developers (with Debbie Abilock and Violet H. Harada, Libraries Unlimited, June 2012). She was series editor and contributor to the makerspace book series for middle-grade students, Makers as Innovators (Cherry Lake 2013).
Additionally, she has editied or co-edited several eBooks, including What Teachers Need to Know About Educational Technology Practices, Policies, and Procedures (with Jeff Stanzler, 2013), Everything You Wanted to Know About Information Literacy But Were Afraid to Google (2012), Information Literacy in the Wild (2011), and Libraries: What's Now, What's Next, What's Yet to Come (co-edited with Buffy Hamilton, 2011).
