Compassion-Based Strategies for Managing Election Related Dialogue in the Classroom
Date/Time: Wednesday, October 28, 3:30 - 4:30

As we head into the election tensions are growing across our community as students, staff and faculty grapple with the implications for this election year and the various ways election outcomes can impact their lives. This time is set aside to provide an opportunity for faculty to engage in proactive dialogue about managing classroom conversations surrounding the upcoming election and political environment.

ST. MICHAELS COLLEGE COVID OUTBREAK
As you all likely know, St. Michael's College confirmed an outbreak on their campus last week. We are in regular contact with the state health department and the city of Burlington to monitor the situation and its potential impacts for our community. Champlain continues to pay attention and learn from their real-time experience. Here is a link where you can learn more.

Upcoming Dates
- 10/26 Student Registration period opens for spring courses
- 11/6 Student Registration period closes for spring courses
- 11/13 Last day to withdraw from a course with a grade of “W” and last day to withdraw from the College
- 11/16 - 12/4 IDEA Student Ratings of Instruction
- 11/23 - Students who have not registered by this date will receive a $250 late registration fee
- 11/23 - 11/27 Thanksgiving Break
- 11/30 Classes resume with 100% virtual instruction
- 12/09 Incomplete request deadline
- 12/11 Last day to request a medical withdrawal from the college
