Students are dismissed at 2:00 PM (busses and daycare vans run at 2:00 PM). For parents who are unable to provide early pick up on these days there is an option to stay at Westside for a supervised movie. (You would have signed up for this during the annual update process.) Please utilize this service only if necessary. If your child is signed up to stay for the movie, he/she can be picked up any time between 2:00 and 3:35 from the gym. Y-Care begins at 3:35 for those students who are signed up.

End of Quarter - Progress Reports
Please be aware that the “Grades” tab in Infinite Campus will close to parents on Friday, January 12th and reopen on Friday, January 26th after 4:00 pm. At this time, you can access your child’s report card via Infinite Campus. Please note that when reviewing the report card teacher comments do not show up in the portal when looking at the main Grades screen. They do, however, if you access the Reports screen. From there, you can generate a report card in pdf format that will have all the comments.

Our students and staff are preparing cards to express our thanks! No matter what the weather or circumstance, our crossing guards do a great job keeping us safe!

Dressing for the Weather
With the weather getting colder, please make sure your child is dressed appropriately to go outside. If there’s snow on the ground, students must wear boots and snowpants to play on the playground equipment or any other snow-covered area during recess. Students that do not have appropriate attire will need to stay on the blacktop. Recess is outside unless the temperature or wind chill is below 0.
Kindergarten Registration
It's time to enroll your newest Papermaker for 2024-2025!
Residents in the Kimberly Area School District can now register their newest Papermaker in Kindergarten. If your child is going to be 4 or 5 years old by September 1, 2024, registrations for 4K and 5K can be completed online. Please see the KASD website for additional information. Please note that if your child currently attends the 4K Center for Literacy, there is no need to register them for 5K.
