Teen Mental Health First Aid

Ms. Jenn Ayers in conjunction with the TTC has been working on enhancing the Health Curriculum by introducing and emphasizing Teen Mental Health First Aid. This emphasis on Teen Mental Health First Aid will allow students to add strategies to their personal Mental Health toolbox. An important aspect of this work is to provide an info session for any parent, caregiver, and student who would like to learn more about this program.

Please join us for an Informational Session to Learn More:

March 14th from 5:30 - 6:00 pm: Youth Info-session for students

Sessions will both be virtual via Zoom with an opportunity for Q&A at the end:

Meeting ID: 447 830 4577/Passcode: 380715 and this will take place.

More information can be found on this program by following this link.

Dr. Christopher Willard - All School Speaker

I am excited to announce that Dr. Christopher Willard will be speaking to our students on Tuesday, March 15th at 9 AM. He will be addressing the role mindfulness can play to alleviate stress and contribute to better overall mental health. The invitation to Dr. Willard was extended following the introduction of a mindfulness space in the library by the student council. The goal is to develop a better sense of what mindfulness is and the role it can play in our wellbeing toolbox.

The musical will take place on March 17 and March 18 at 7:00 PM. A matinee (the final production) will be performed on March 19 at Noon. We hope everyone will join us for the first high school in-person theatrical production since March 2020. Tickets can be purchased at the DOOR!

Masco Mid-Morning Update

Starting this week, the Mid-morning update is making its way to our classrooms twice per week! Check out all the news in this episode by checking out The Morning Update here.

Don't forget to read our school newspaper, The Chieftain Chronicle, as well.

Tri-Town Council

Here is a link to the upcoming TTC events. TTC is delighted to sponsor the All-Nite Graduation Celebration following the ceremony on Friday, June 3, 2022.TTC has been offering this fun-filled, safe evening for 50+ years, and sadly we've missed the last two. This event can not happen without many, many volunteers, and every year the community has answered the call. As you can imagine, the logistics of providing different venues, transportation, food, entertainment, chaperones, and medical personnel for the majority of the graduating senior class is no small feat. But it is an endeavor we happily take on, in collaboration with Masconomet, to celebrate this amazing and resilient Class of 2022.
