Message from Mr. Meisel
Hello Erin Families,
I just wanted to take a moment and thank you all for the tremendous support you have shown to not only the Music Program but also to Erin School as a whole. From the Marching Band at the Hartford Christmas Parade to the Elementary and Middle school holiday concerts, and finally the 8th grade musical, your support has helped to make each of those events remarkable! Thank you!
I want to announce an event that is happening right away in the New Year on Thursday January 3rd at 7:00 called the “Kettle Moraine Jazz Experience.” One of the bands that I play saxophone in, Digbii (we played at Jazz Night last Spring and at Summerfest), has volunteered to put on a show at the Schauer Center to raise money for a new idea we came up with called “The Visiting Artist Series” to bring in professional musicians to play and give clinic’s at Erin School.
With help from multiple Erin families, this is the first event I have been a part of like this. It is open to the public and children of all ages are welcome. For tickets call the Schauer Center at 262-670-0560, stop in at the box office or visit, https://www.schauercenter.org/events_and_tickets/event_internal.php?seid=3657.
Thank you for helping to make music and the arts at Erin School very special.
Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays everyone!
Kind Regards,
Mr. Ryan Meisel

Raising Caring Kids
Raising Caring Kids: Standing Up For Yourself
As parents, we protect and advocate for our child. From their earliest moments, we are in charge of almost all of the decisions regarding their safety and environments. As children grow older and gain independence, they start to make more decisions for themselves. We can help children make responsible choices and learn to promote their own safety. Parents and caregivers can teach children skills that will help them make good decisions, stand up for themselves, and be safe. Watch our video and read more about preparing children to make safe decisions.
