Drama is preparing for their Spring production of "James and the Giant Peach." All three grade levels are gearing up for their field trips. Students are entering various competitions from spelling bees to statewide essay contests. Pennies for Patients

The BETA club at JMS is participating in the Pennies for Patients program benefiting The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. The Pennies program is set to start 2/14/2017 and end on 3/10/2017.

Each student who chooses to participate will receive an individual collection box in homeroom. There will be a collection box in each homeroom. The homeroom who collects the most money per person will receive a breakfast compliments of the BETA Club.

So check under the couch cushions! Just a handful of pennies collected from each student quickly adds up!

JMS 8th Grade Winter Ball and Fatz Breakfast Fundraiser

On Friday, 2/3, the 8th grade had their annual Winter Ball. This is a formal ball where only the 8th grade gets to attends. Thank you to the staff and parents who helped put this together for our wonderful 8th graders! The next morning, some of the JMS 8th grade students served breakfast at Fatz as a means to help raise funds for the 8th grade Savannah field trip in April.
