Marriage Proposals On The Internet
Think it can't happen? Here's Proof that it does!
Who Knew Marriage Proposals On The Internet Could Ever Come True...
Lori Brokaw-Stout and Husband Brian Stout got engaged through Pinterest. All he did was Create a Pinterest Account, due to her obsession with Pinterest, Asked her to follow him, which she did, and then he Pinned an 8 foot long Marriage Proposal to her which was his one and only Pin. She said Yes! Their marriage is ultimately another example of how social media sites are changing the ways individuals interact with each other online. Less than 10 years ago, it was still largely a social taboo to admit you met your partner via an online dating site. Whereas now, statistics suggest that around 40 million people in the U.S. alone use the Internet to search for potential mates.
