COVID TEAM Reminders
- Mask-Wearing Indoors: San Diego County health officials are currently following the California Department of Public Health guidelines regarding mask-wearing indoors--and so are we. As such, it is no longer required for our students and staff to wear a mask indoors while on campus. The CDPH "strongly recommends that all persons (e.g., students and staff) wear masks in K-12 indoor settings," but it is no longer required. Furthermore, no students or staff can be prevented from wearing a mask indoors if they so choose.
- Daily COVID-19 Screening: Students are no longer required to complete the COVID-19 SELF-SCREENING FORM prior to coming onto campus. We will rely on your self-attestation that you're okay to come onto campus without putting others at risk with regards to COVID-19.
- As always, please DO NOT come onto campus if you have any of the following symptoms: fever (100F or greater); cough; shortness of breath; nasal congestion/runny nose; sore throat; nausea/vomiting/diarrhea; fatigue; new loss of taste/smell; headache; muscle or body aches; or poor appetite.
- If you are NOT fully vaccinated, please DO NOT come onto campus if the following is true for you: Within the past 10 days, have you been in close physical contact with anyone who is known or suspected of having COVID-19? Close Contact is defined as: 1) Being within 6 feet of someone who has COVID-19 for a total of 15 minutes or more over a 24-hour period, 2) Providing care at home to someone who is sick with COVID-19, 3) Having direct physical contact with the person (hugged or kissed them), 4) Sharing eating or drinking utensils, or 5) Being sneezed on, coughed on, or somehow getting respiratory droplets on you from someone with COVID-19.
- Please DO NOT come onto campus if, within the past 5 days, have you tested positive for COVID-19 or been advised by your doctor or public health official that you are presumed to have COVID-19.
When returning to campus on Day 6 after a positive result of COVID-19 test:
- On Days 6 – 10, students SHOULD wear a mask that fits snugly over the mouth and nose while indoors and when around others outside.
- Per Cal/OSHA’s ETS, employees MUST wear a mask on Days 6 – 10.
You are still required to show your Student ID to a Campus Supervisor upon entering campus.
