October is busy, make sure you don't miss out on anything!
The best way is to keep on top of things is a checklist. Here is a general one that does a decent job, except for talking about scholarships. That's covered in a later section of this newsletter.
COLLEGE APPLICATION WEEK IS COMING SOON!
As of right now, we are planning on having it the week of November 2nd. You will be:
- Filling out a College Application (I bet you guessed that one)
- Filling out a scholarship
- Creating an FSA ID (don't worry, we'll explain what it is)
- Requesting a high school transcript for college
- Winning stuff. Yes, you read that right. Everyone who does each step is a winner!

FAFSA is now open! Yes, you should fill it out. It's free money for college, why wouldn't you?

The next NACAC Virtual College Fairs are happening soon:
- Sunday, Oct. 18: 12 - 8 p.m. ET
- Sunday, Nov. 8: 2 - 10 p.m. ET
More than 600 colleges and universities will offer Zoom sessions and meetings, sign up and reserve your spot!
