Burchfield's Bulletin
April 23-27, 2018 (School Days 148-152)
A Note From Me
- Final MAP results for some have been outstanding.
- Texas Reads One Book Kick Off was great. "Ralph" showing up was lots of fun. If you need to show the kick off, I've attached it below. I'm sure the kids will get a kick out of seeing it again.
- We ROCKED FIELD DAY!
- "Summer Camp" was a tremendous success. The great audience had so many wonderful things to say about the show.
- Loved Bobcat Pride Breakfast and having parents on campus.
- Hawaiian Day with the Principal of the Day was just fun.
- Topping the week off with sprinkle donuts, pies in the face, a cast party , and no electricity was the cherry on the top.
THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU!
As I said on Wednesday, your hard work is paying off. Your celebrations with students will continue to encourage them through the end of the year no doubt. The fact is, many remember the celebrations for years to come.
Required BrightBytes Survey Time is HERE
Certified Teachers, Librarian, and Administrators ONLY
...should take this survey. Students and parents are also being asked to complete questionnaires specific to them. Please encourage them to participate through email, campus website, and social media.
Please have students complete the survey during the school day. Only students in grades 3-12 take the survey.
There is a special link on each campus page for K-2 teachers to complete their version of the survey.
The last day to complete this questionnaire is Friday, April 27th at midnight.
To complete the survey, please click the link below (works for parents, teachers and students):
If you are a BISD teacher/administrator AND the parent of a BISD student, you may take the survey under both roles. Please complete the teacher survey for YOUR campus, and the parent survey for your students’ campus. Thank you!
"Summer Camp" was so fun for students and the audience.
There is not a good way to say thanks to everyone who played an important role in the planning, rehearsing, and executing the musical/theatrical production. Of course, Debra and Jennifer were the front directors who worked so well together to make the huge cast and crew work so well together for the big show. There are no words to describe my pride last Thursday night. I wish the world could know what I know about you all. The day will come.
