Cold cheescake - Sernik na zimno


A packet of biscuits (600g)

4 cream cottage cheese boxes

2 packets of jelly

Fruit (not kiwi)

0,5 glass milk

3 glasses water

Preparation :

Soak the biscuits lightly in milk and put them into the baking pan. Dissolve one jelly packet in a glass of hot water. Cool it. Mix the cooled mixture with cottage cheese and pour on the biscuits. Put it into the refrigerator for 10 minutes. Lay fruit on a lightly thickened mass. Dissolve the second jelly in two cups of water. Cool the jelly. Pour a small amount on fruit on the cheesecake. Refrigerate for 10 minutes so that the fruit does not move, and then pour the rest of the jelly. Wait until the mixture thickens.

Ginger cake - Piernik


glass – 200 gr

3 glasses of wheat flour

1 glass of sugar

2 tablespoons of cocoa

1 teaspoon of baking powder

1 saschet of ginger spices

1 ½ tablespoon of baking soda

3 eggs

1 glass of milk

1 glass of plum jam / marmalade

½ glass of honey

¾ glass of oil

Mix flour, sugar, cocoa, spices, baking powder and baking soda .

Add yolks, milk, jam, honey and oil and mix everything thoroughly.

Beat the whites and mix in delicately into the mixture.

Put it to the baking form which should be greased with butter.

Bake for 50 minutes in 180`C

Polish poppy seed cake - Makowiec

Ingredients for a cake:

500 g plain flour

4 egg yolks

3-4 tablespoon sour cream (about 18 %)

10 tablespoons sugar

2 teaspoons baking powder

400 g butter

1/4 teaspoon salt

Poppy seed filling:

500 g poppy seeds

170 g sugar

100 g raisins

100 g walnuts, chopped

3 tablespoons honey

2 teaspoons almond extract

100 g candied orange peel

4 egg whites

Put poppy seed in a small saucepan. Cover with boiling water, let it cool. Strain the poppy seed through a fine strainer, mince twice.

Combine all filling ingredients together. Beat whites until soft peaks form and carefully mix with poppy seed filling. Set aside.

The cake:

On the table mix together flour, salt, baking powder and sugar. Add chopped butter. All together mixed with each other by means of a knife. Cut anything until the formation of small crumbs. Add egg yolk and sour cream. Knead the dough ball, put into plastic bag and refrigerate for 30 min. After that, divided into two parts.

Preheat the oven to 180 degrees C.

The baking paper put in the baking form ( about 30 x 20 cm ) and spray with oil and sprinkle with breadcrumbs or flour. Roll the first part of cake and put in the baking form. Put the filling onto the cake. Roll the second part of cake and put on the poppy seed filling.

Bake in the warm oven about 40-50 minutes. Take it out from the oven and cool.

Decorate with glaze:


1 cup icing sugar

3 - 4 Tbs hot water

Layer cake with the cream filling


- 2 glasses wheat flour

- 1 bar – 100 gr butter/margarine

- 1,5 glass sugar

- 4 eggs

- 3 spoons cocoa powder

- 1 teaspoon baking powder

- 1 saschet vanilla sugar

- half a glass water

- oil and breadcrumbs to prepare the baking for

Cream filling:

- 250 gr vanilla flavoured soft cheese

- 60 grams butter

-1,5 glass sugar


50 gr margarine

6 spoons sugar

4 spoons cocoa powder

3 spoons water

How to make it:


Bring to the boil water, sugar, margarine/butter and cocoa powder and leave the mixture to cool. Next, in separate bowls beat the yolks of the eggs with vanilla cream till they are white and the whites of the eggs till they are stiff. Add flour and baking powder to the cooled mixture and mix slowly. Next add the beaten egg whites and yolks and mix in thoroughly. Prepare the baking from by greasing it and covering with breadcrumbs of baking paper.

Put in the mixture. Bake for 50 minutes in 180°C.

The cream

Mix softened butter with sugar and then mix in the cheese till smooth.

The icing

In a pot – bring to the boil water, sugar and cocoa powder. When the sugar is dissowed, add butter/margarine and stir and cook for about 3 minutes till it thichens.

When the cake cooled off, cut it in two halves spread the cheese inside and pour the incing on the top.

Cookies - Ciasteczka


-600g flour

-500g margarine

-4 yolks

-6 tablespoon of sour cream

How to make it:

Chop margarine with flour. After that add yolks, sour cream and mix it all. Next, put the mixture into the fridge for 2 hours. Roll out the cake and cut the shapes. Coat tops with beaten egg and sprinkle with sugar. Put into oven for 20 minutes in 170-180 Celsius.

Apple pie - Jabłecznik


4 eggs

1 glass of flour

1 glass of sugar

1 teaspoon of baking powder

3-4 apples

Put the eggs with sugar into a big bowl. Beat until you have a fluffy mass.

Slowly add flour mixed with a teaspoon of baking powder. Heat up the oven

to 180`C. Peel the apples. Cut apples into small pieces. Lay out a sheet of

baking paper into a baking form. Put in the mixture. Add apples to the

mixture. Put into oven. Bake for 45 minutes.

Fast Lemon Cake - Szybkie cytrynowe ciasto (cytrynowa babka)


- 4 eggs

- 1 glass of sugar

- 1 glass of potato flour

- 4 full tablespoons of flour

- 3 flat teaspoons of baking powder

- ¾ glass of oil

- several drops of lemon extract

Beat down eggs, sugar and extract. Mix flours and baking powder in a blow. Beat the eggs and slowly add the flour. Add oil and mix well. Put the mixture into cake tin. Bake the cake for 45 minutes in 180C . Check if it is baked.

Apple pie


- 4 eggs

-200 g butter

-3 glasses of wheat flour

-1 glass of sugar

-1 kilo of apples

-1 small bag of vanilla sugar

- 1 teaspoon of baking powder


1.Put all the ingredients into a big bowl: yolks, butter, flour, baking powder,

1/2 glass of sugar, 1 bag of vanilla sugar

2.Mix all the ingredients and make a cake.

3.Split the cake into four parts.

4.Put one part of the cake into the freezer.

5. Put the rest of the cake into a cake tin.

6. Put one kilogram of grated apples on the cake in the tin.

7.Whisk the four eggs’ white into hard froth.

8. Add half of a glass of sugar to the white froth.

9.Sprinkle some cinnamon on the grated apples.

10.Sprinkle a small bag of vanilla sugar on it.

11.Put the frozen grated piece of a cake on the top of the apple mass.

12.Put the cake tin into the over and bake it in 180 degrees for an hour.

13.Now the apple pie is ready.

Donuts - Pączki

- 1 kg flour

- pinch of salt

- 500 ml warm milk

- 100 g fresh yeast

- 8 yolks

- 110 g sugar

- 2 tablespoons vanilla sugar

- 300 g marmalade

- 90 g melted butter

- 2 tablespoons of vodka

- 1,5 l oil

Preparation :

Put together milk , 3 tablespoons of flour , fresh yeast and melt them in the pot . The milk can’t be too warm because it can kill the yeast bacteria . When it is warm – put it into the bowl and add flour, eggs , pinch of salt , sugar , vanilla sugar , melted butter and two tablespoons of vodka. Knead the cake mixture by hand and leave it for one hour to double its quantity. After one hour, take a part of the cake and roll it until it is 3 cm thin . Cut circles with a glass, put a teaspoonful of marmalade in the middle and from a ball .When you make all the donuts , heat the oil in a pot and fry them . When you fry them till golden brown, put them on paper towels to get rid of the oil . Sprinkle powdered sugar and enjoy eating them.

Layer cake - Przekładaniec


500 g flour

200 g sugar

100 g butter

1 tablespoon of oil

2 eggs

3 tablespoons of melted honey

3 tablespoons of milk

1 teaspoon of baking soda and a pinch of baking powder

Mix all ingredients and make the cake. Divide it into 3 parts. Add cocoa to 1 part. Bake every part separately on the baking tray( in temperature 220 degrees for 10-15 minutes ).

The filling:

3 glasses of milk

6 tablespoons of semolina(grits)

1 glass of sugar

100 gr butter

2 tablespoons of lemon juice

Cook 3 glasses of milk. Add 6 tablespoons of semolina (grits), put away from fire. Add 1 glass of sugar and cool. Grate 100 g of cooled butter. Gradually add chilled semolina – slowly 1 tablespoon at the time and mix. Add lemon juice.

Make chocolate icing ( melt butter and chocolate together and stir till it is mixed

Put the light cake on a baking tray, next put on half of the filling, next put the dark cake, again the rest of the filling and again the light cake. Put chocolate icing on the top.

Pancakes - Racuchy z jabłkami

1 glass of flour

1/2 glass of milk
1 egg

1 vanilla sugar

1 apple

1 teaspoon of sour cream

1/2 teaspoon of baking powder

oil for frying

Mix all the ingredients together to the consistency of thick cream. Add the chopped apple. Put a spoon of mixture on the hot pan with oil. Fry on both sides until golden brown.

You can eat them with:
- jam

- powdered sugar

- cream and sugar

Fried angels wings - Faworki


2,5 glass of flour,

5 yolks,

1 tablespoon of sugar,

0,5 glass of cream,

1 tablespoon of vinegar,

pinch of salt,

frying oil,

powdered sugar.


Mix yolks, cream, salt, sugar, vinegar. Mix ingredients with a knife and next knead. Hit the kneaded cake with a rolling pin for 30 minutes till you see bubbles of air. Fold the cake a few times. Roll the cake thinly and cut stripes 12 cm long and 4 cm wide. Cut each stripe in the middle and fold inside out. Fry angels wings until golden. Sprinkle with powdered sugar.

Pancakes with apple - Nalesniki z jabłkami

Cake mixture:

- 500ml milk

- 300g flour

- pinch of salt

- 1 egg

- 1 tablespoon of oil

- oil for frying

- 3 teaspoons of sugar


- 700g apples

- 2 teaspoons lemon juice

- 1/4 glass of water

- 2 tablespoons of sugar

- 2 pinch of salt

Cake mixture

Sift flour, add milk and an egg.

Stir joined ingredients into mixture.

Pour in oil.

Stir all, next fry pancakes.


Peel apples, grate thickly on grater and add lemon juice. Put them into a saucepan, add sugar, salt and water. Stir until they thicken. Smear on pancakes and roll them.
