Month of March Nonfiction Challenge

From now until April 3rd, we will be offering a Nonfiction Reading Challenge to students. In order to compete in the challenge, students must read one nonfiction book from each of the ten Dewey Decimal sections, (the 000s, 100s, 200s, etc,) When the student has read one book from each section and filled in the required form stating their favorite fact from the book, they will be allowed to attend an after school movie on April 7th. This not only encourages students to read nonfiction but also acquaints them with the sections of the Dewey Decimal system, familiarizing them with the library for conducting research.
