Parent Teacher Conferences - THIS WEEK!
Virtual Parent-Teacher Conferences can be booked through the SCHOOL INTERVIEWS Website
Simply click on the website above and use the event code: ye937 in order to book a timeslot with the teacher(s) that you would like to meet with during the following times:
- Wednesday, November 3rd from 3:30-5:30
- Thursday, November 4th from 3:30-7:30
Once booked the Student Interviews Website allows you to pick an Online Video Meeting or Phone Call Option for your time slot. We are looking forward to connecting with our families of STMY! Please note that Powerschool will be paused and not visible until the afternoon on Monday, Nov. 1st.
School Awards
We will be able to honor our award recipients for the 2020-2021 school year during grade level, cohorted assemblies this Friday, Nov. 5th. We sincerely congratulate all of our students for their hard work during a particularly difficult year with many challenges and changes. Stay tuned for the future newsletters and to the local paper for more pictures and details!

SHAD is BACK!
We are excited to announce that Shad applications are open AND...we are back in person!
Each summer, 1000 students join our program and leave with lifelong connections, increased confidence, new career paths, awakened passions and university-aged mentors. All this in 27-days.
Shad is for grade 10 and 11 students who want to live-on a university campus, dive into hands-on STEAM and entrepreneurship learning, tackle a real-world problem, and make strides in their confidence, teamwork, and critical thinking skills.

WISEST - SET Conference
Gain insight into different career paths in science, engineering and technology (SET) and related University of Alberta programs. Explore virtual lab tours and activities Learn what it is like to be a student in science, engineering or technology.
Meet STEM professionals and speak with inspiring mentors.
All girls and gender diverse students in grades 10-12 are welcome at SET.
Registration fee: $15/student for the full day and $10/student for half the day (either morning OR afternoon) Registration is open October 18th.
