Pleasant Valley Family Newsletter

April 23, 2021

Our mission is to empower and inspire a community of lifelong learners and leaders!

Hello Pleasant Valley Families,

The Daffodils are popping up our Land Lab…finally! And it looks like our flowers that Mrs. Schatzel planted with our learners in Ms. Schaff's class survived the mid-week snow! April has been a busy month! We are now halfway through our spring state testing! Our third and fourth-grade learners took both parts of the English Language Arts AIR state assessment during this week. Our third and fourth-grade learners will begin the Math OST the week after next! Keep in mind that May 4th is Election Day and there will NO School for students.

Please remember that if COVID-19 has impacted your child by either testing positive or being a primary contact to someone who has, you must keep them home and notify our nursing staff of the next steps. It goes without saying that any students exhibiting symptoms should remain home for at least 24 hours until symptom-free. Towards the end of this newsletter is a link to our Health and Safety Plan. Our nursing staff can be reached at 440-843-1531.

As always, I want to thank you for your partnership with Pleasant Valley! We are so appreciative of all of our Pleasant Valley families. Should you ever have any questions, concerns, or just a terrific idea you would like to share, please send me an email at or call the main office at 440.885.2380.

Very Sincerely,

Mrs. Stephanie Boka
