Lemonade Stand News
Our class will run the lemonade stand tomorrow from 11-3. If you're out and about stop by for a nice, refreshing cup of lemonade for just 50 cents or more. Your donations will be greatly appreciated! Please help us crush cancer...one cup at a time!
Math
This week in math we will work on balanced equations, area and perimeter, and measurement. Many kids were struggling to catch on to balancing equations today, but I still sent homework home because they seemed to be catching on at the end of class. My plan is to review this again tomorrow and maybe even Wednesday if needed.
ELA
We will be learning about Greek Mythology this week as we read, The One-Eyed Giant. We will also continue to review editing skills as we write some informative paragraphs about various topics including recess. Vocabulary packets were sent home today and are due back on Friday. Also, the kiddos should read 15 minutes each night Monday through Thursday. That's all for now. As always, please let me know if you have any questions or concerns.
