What Parents Want
A survey by the National School Public Relations Association can help you understand how to build relationships with parents through effective school-home communication. NSPRA surveyed 50 of its member districts with a total of 43,310 responses and found the following preferences. While the survey is five years old, one can suspect the results have not significantly changed.
Top five preferred delivery methods for school news:
1. Email
2. Online parent portal
3. E-newsletters
4. Website
5. Telephone voice messaging

• How best to communicate with the teacher (for secondary students)
