PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE

Dear Pleasant Run Families:

Next week, we will have various events taking place to celebrate the end of Term 3! Most importantly, all students have the chance to participate in Friday's CORE Celebration, where they can spend their CORE coins on games, activities, prizes, and popcorn! We will also sell concessions to students. Term 3 report cards will be sent home with students on Friday, March 15th. Please be sure to ask your student for their report card next week.

“Spring” Forward. Don’t forget to adjust your clocks on Saturday, March 10. Daylight Savings Time begins! Move your clocks forward ONE hour.

The EXCEL Program here in Warren Township is designed to meet the unique academic and effective needs of highly talented students through an accelerated approach. The curriculum in the EXCEL program is differentiated and faster paced and students will work above grade level. If interested, you may fill out the EXCEL Parent Recommendation Form. All forms must be completed by March 31, 2019.

Thank you for your continued support of your child and our school - we appreciate you! Please contact me at 317-532-3803 if you have any further questions.

Mr. Koomler

Principal

PTA NEWS

Joining the PTA allows you to meet some great people. PTA functions are opportunities to meet other parents and teachers, to build rapport and discuss issues that are on your mind. You can share ideas, concerns, and experiences to make the school year better for everyone.

The mission of the Pleasant Run Elementary PTA is to act in the interest of the children, to encourage understanding and cooperation between parents and teachers, and to promote programs that benefit the success of children’s learning. The Pleasant Run PTA supports education through active participation and advocacy.

Pleasant Run Elementary has a very active and supportive PTA. We sponsor many fun events throughout the school year. We also provide volunteers for many school events as well as provide support for school programs such as Super Reader, Breakfast with Santa and the annual fund raiser. Please join us for a PTA meeting to see what we’re all about.
