Cholera is mainly spread by drinking water or eating food that has been contaminated by the waste product of an infected person. Cholera is a bacterium that attacks the small intestine. Main symptoms include diarrhea , vomiting, this may result in dehydration and in severe cases grayish-bluish skin.
How we can prevent/fight it
There is a vaccine for chlorera scientists don't recommend it because it only works in half the people and last for only a few months. To prevent getting cholera use boiled water,bottled ,or chemically disinfected. Avoid raw meats and shellfish ,unpasteurized milk products/milk, unpeeled fruits and veggies and tropical reef fish.If you get any symptoms get medical help immediately because dehydration can happen quickly.
