The helicopter tour also allows you to get an aerial view but with a more thrilling experience. You also get a chance to see the canyons size and also here some fun facts.
Hiking Trails
Another activity you can enjoy is HIKING on the Bright Angel Trail, the South Kaibab Trail, and the North Kaibab Trail. The Bright Angel Trail offers a comfortable, safe trek perfect for kids. It also has a plateau point with a turnaround, so if you get tired of walking, you can always turn back. And BEST OF ALL for all you beginners… there’s also a one-day hike you can take. But, the excitement DOES NOT stop there. If you go hiking on the South Kaibab Trail, you’ll enjoy spectacular views of the Grand Canyon itself! Plus, you’ll go on a ridge line, and for children, you can go on a very easy and relaxing 1.8 mile hike. Finally, to end all the excitement with a BANG, (this is for all you advanced hikers,) you can hike on the North Kaibab Trail! It’ll provide a challenging trek for the experienced hikers! Plus, if you’re not EXACTLY an expert, there’s always a turnaround point at the Roaring Springs Canyon. We hope you enjoy an exciting trip to the Grand Canyon for very fun hiking expedition.
Water Rafting
Another activity that tweens can do at the canyon is go water rafting. you can choose between an oar powered boat or a motor powered boat. You can also pay for a half day rafting trip or a full day rafting trip. There are also a 14 to 16 day dory expedition and an 8 day expedition. There are 200 white water Rapids to enjoy when rafting.
