The Siberian Husky
Many people thought the team of huskies would fail in the 1909 race. They were all surprised when the team placed third. Then, a scotsman, who was involved in the race, went to Siberia to get sixty of the best siberian huskies. He later entered the three teams in the 1910 race. Once again the dogs had an amazing race. One team placed first. Another second, and the last team in fourth. After this, the Siberian Husky was no longer a "Siberian Rat."
