What's Up?
The month of March always goes so fast! This week, we had a guest speaker who reviewed WW2 with us, took a practice Georgia Milestones Test, and had picture day. Whew! We finished up our WW2 unit and our coordinate graphing unit. We began learning about shapes, and continued our electricity unit.
What's Next...
In Math, students will continue learning about classifying shapes and they will have a test on Friday. In Science, your child will build an electromagnet and begin learning about earth science. The Cold War and Civil Rights Movement will be the focus during Social Studies the next few weeks, and we will focus on informational writing during ELA time.
Looking for something to do?
I spent some time at Panola Mountain State Park this weekend, and next Saturday, March 14th, they are having reptile day. It's from 10-3. It's $5 to park and $3 to get in. I thought some of you might be interested.
