What is Celiac Disease?
Celiac Disease is a problem people have when they eat food that contains gluten. What happens when a person with Celiac Disease eats food with gluten you ask. Well, the inside of their small intestine can damage caused by a response in the immune system that isn't normal.
Symptoms of Celiac Disease
- Gas and bloating
- Changes in bowel movements
- Weight loss
- Fatigue
How Celiac Disease carrying-people handle it to get better
They avoid all foods that contain gluten. Which are foods that have been made with rye, wheat, barley, or triticale. They should avoid drinking any types of beer or ale. They pretty much have to change their diet completely.
Foods they can still eat: fish, eggs, meat, fruits and vegetables.
