Keep your inbox and notifications to the minimum:
Respond to those that you can complete quickly.
Add to your “to do” list those items that will take more time.
Label/file those items that need no response or as you address/complete them.
Delete items or junk emails that you are certain are not needed.
Configure your email to prioritize your emails and/or use filters and rules to send specific emails to skip the inbox. Google Gmail:
Consider how you can communicate effectively while helping to reduce communication overload.
Reply only to emails when necessary.
Avoid “Reply All.”
Send only essential emails.
Compose clear and concise messages (See Anatomy of an Email).
Following these four steps to effectively manage your inbox and notifications may help you feel like you have less to do allowing you to focus on spending quality time with loved ones.

"The project assigned was called contour line and shape, where we paint the inside of the shapes and add hatching on the outside. The inspiration was a video I saw on TikTok, which isn't interesting but I tried to put a twist on it. It was my favorite project we have done this year so far!"
Students will be issued the same device each year they are enrolled at MHS. All Chromebooks will be labeled prior to the fall. Chromebooks and chargers will be collected after testing. Anyone not testing may turn in their device early to the ITF. Seniors must have all items turned before graduation. Freshmen, Sophomores, and Juniors will complete the MHS Chromebook Student Storage Sheet as items are turned in. Students will be able to report any damages that may need to be fixed over the summer on this document.
- June 1st-2nd: Students not taking an EOC or CTE exam
- June 6th-9th: Students taking an EOC or CTE exam
- June 9th: All Chromebooks and chargers due

- Complete the DCS Summer Chromebook Checkout Form (This form is for intent purposes only. It does not guarantee that you will be issued a device over the summer.)
