Howard Monthly Message
Dear School Colleagues,
Research shows that Eating Disorders are psychiatric illnesses that impact thousands of youth in America each year. The good news is that eating disorders are treatable! Learning the early warning signs that may signal a child has a problem is critical to getting treatment, and school staff are often positioned to be among the first to recognize and address these signs. Better yet, we are also able to send positive messages to kids from a very young age about body image and health to reduce the likelihood that eating disorders will emerge. Please review the following brief articles to learn about the impact you could have if you have concerns about any student you know.
