Blaze Bulletin
Edition 24 - Week of March 7th
Greetings...
Dear teachers,
So, we are still waiting to hear about when and how and where tests are coming for the TNReady testing window (scheduled at this point for the week of March 14). Mr. Strickland will be sending you an email explaining what we know and what we don't know at this point. We will let you know the second we know!
Also, just a reminder about chaperoning for prom and graduation. Early in the year, we sent out a "save the date" notice asking Freshmen and Junior sponsors to plan to chaperone prom and senior and sophomore sponsors to help with graduation. The point was to spread the work in order to be fair to everyone. I did not, however, remember to send the reminder again mid year as I had intended to do. So, therefore, I'd like to be fair to you. We want everyone to work one of these two big events (and you are welcome to both!).... If you can do the one you were scheduled for at the beginning of the year, please do that. If you want to change which one you work, please feel ok to do so. Once we have all the names on the prom chaperone list, we will use everyone else for graduation.
Thanks!

Calling all talent....FACULTY TALENT SHOW!
The faculty talent show takes place during senior week, which will be the last week of April. The show includes a variety of musical, comedy, and dance acts that are performed in a show exclusively for the seniors. We have a lot of talent on this staff, but even if you don't have "talent," you can still be a part if you just want to be silly. :)
Start brainstorming and getting your acts together. The show is always a hoot! You don't want to miss being a part of this fun and memorable event. The seniors get such a kick out of seeing their teachers on stage!
Email me your ideas and tentative plans. If you would like to participate but don't have an idea or group. let me know and we'll find a spot for you.
