Library lessons for October 23-31
Check out the Exciting Events that happened in October!
Bagdad's Monster Mash 2014!
Students had fun reading a variety of "monsterly" books such as The Monsterator, The Monster in the Woods, The Monstore, and Creepy Carrots. Then, they eagerly entered our own "monsterator" machine and created their own versions of shape monsters! It was a huge success, and fun was had by all! (To see pictures from this event, click on the picture below.)
Bagdad's Storybook Pumpkin Patch!
Students from Pre-K through 5th grade participated in our 2nd Annual Storybook Pumpkin Patch. Each student chose a character from their favorite story, and created a pumpkin to represent that character. Teachers voted for their favorites in each grade level, and the winners received a $5.00 coupon to shop at the Fall Book Fair! (To see pictures from this event, click on the picture below.)
Book Fair Update
Thanks to all who came out to volunteer or shop during our Fall Scholastic Book Fair! It was a HUGE success and we couldn't have done it without you! Our next Book Fair will be in May. More information coming later next year!
