Announcements:
- TOMORROW is our field trip to the Science Museum. If your child chose to bring a lunch from home, please remember to send one. NO ELECTRONICS on the bus; however they may bring notebooks, books, etc. for the ride in a bag that can be left on the bus. Refer to the reminder sheet send home last week.
- Wednesday is our field trip to Piepenburg Park for Nature Field Day with the McLeod County Soil and Water Conservation group. Please read over the reminder sheet that was sent home Friday. Students should put on sunscreen/bug repellent at home before they come to school. Dress for the weather. Bring their lunch if they chose to bring one from home.
- If your child hasn't yet brought a white t-shirt or puffy paint, we will begin tracing the design on our shirts this THURSDAY. The completed shirts will be worn on the last day of school.
Learning is FUN!
This week in Room 210:
READING--We are finishing up some spring data collection. We'll take the SRI one last time to get an end of the year lexile score. We will take a couple other end of the year fiction/non-fiction assessments.
WRITING--Students have enjoyed learning CURSIVE the past week! We will continue going through the cursive alphabet this week.
SPELLING--NO spelling this week. We have completed all fourth grade lists for the year.
MATH--We will begin going through Unit 12: Rates this week. We'll see how far we get! We have field trips and other things going on, too.
