Courage is the ability to do something regardless of fear. Courage is a attribute everyone should strive to have. Courage is tested when one is faced with difficulty, danger, and pain. Courage can also be defined as having a sense of fearless or bravery.

Who can be courageous?

Anyone can be courageous. Yet, being courageous does not make you a leader, although, It is a trait one should have prior to becoming one. Leaders such as Abraham Lincoln, Nelson Mandela and Martin Luther King had to take many courageous risks to become the powerful leaders they were. They had to face failure along the way but taking responsibility for their actions lead them to be better leaders. Stepping out of your comfort zone and taking risks are everyday examples of how you can be courageous. Facing you fears and rising above obstacles during times of difficulty take courage.
