Book Recommendation
Guest: A Changeling Tale by Mary Downing Hahn
Inspired by a hiking trip in Ireland and Celtic folklore, Mary Downing Hahn found the setting and plot for her latest book, Guest: A Changeling Tale. Students who love reading supernatural stories will enjoy Guest. This book is a page turner of suspense and adventure with magical creatures. The main character, Molly Cloverall, is a very determined, brave girl who must get her brother back from the Kinde Folke. With the help of the changeling, Guest, and the traveler, Maddog, Molly enters the Dark Woods to find and rescue her brother. She must not let the otherworldly foes get the best of her.
(Published: September 2019, recommended for ages 10-12)
