Apples of Our Eyes
We began learning how to navigate the independent work station! This is set up for one student to work at a time. The student will take the picture, match the picture to the correct box, pull out the task to the table (tasks include file folders, sorting, fine motor, etc.), complete the task, and put it in the all done bin. We will be changing up the tasks every few weeks.
At circle time, we clapped along to our morning songs, greeted our friends with high fives, identified various shapes, and sang about body parts and categories. During APE, we explored a new playground by the toddler center; we rode tricycles and cars and then practiced going up the stairs and down the slide. We also used scooter boards inside the classroom! With our friends from room 15, we practiced using our words and sign to request more bubbles. On the playground, we passed around the big blue ball in a circle and loved hanging out on top of/under the parachute!
