To honor the Black community and all of those who share a responsibility

in the education of African American youth.

The initiative will teach children about the early African civilizations, the Black experience in America and the contributions and accomplishments and contributions of the African diaspora.

We are definitely in a season of gratitude and thankfulness! Although we have a ways to go, it is nice to sit and think about some of the "wonderful" things we have in our daily lives.
