Welcome to Our New Teacher Librarian: Dawn Jardine

Hi Bridger Families!

My name is Dawn Jardine, and I am so excited to be joining the Bridger community as the new Teacher Librarian! I have been an educator in Portland for 13 years, with experience as an English and Health teacher and as a school administrator. This year, I look forward to building on my teaching experience and creating partnerships with staff and other community members to cultivate an even stronger library program at Bridger. I can't wait to get started!

Outside of school, I enjoy reading (especially mysteries!), watching/playing soccer and softball, skiing, and spending time outdoors with my family. I have two daughters who are in college - one in Chicago and one who splits her time between New York City and Mississippi - so my husband and I are now experiencing a quiet house! This summer, we spent a lot of time on the river in our kayaks.

I am grateful to be a part of the Bridger community and look forward to getting to know all of you this year!

Mrs. Jardine
