Welcome Back!
Thank you to the PTA for hosting the Welcome Back Coffee. It was great to see so many familiar faces and begin to get to know the new families to Bridge. Bridge is known for being an inclusive community who is eager to welcome new families. Please feel free to reach out to me or the PTA if you have any questions about school, the town, or community.
The month of September is used for teachers to get to know their students, complete assessments to better understand where their students are at, and establish the rules and routines of the classroom. The literacy specialists will be supporting students and classroom teachers during this time. They will be "pushing in" to classrooms to help with assessments, read with students, and get to know them. Math coaches will be working with staff to ensure that their math practices and routines are established and the workshop model is underway.
Patriot Post
In order to streamline all the important papers that come home, Bridge uses a school-wide mail system. Papers and flyers will be sent home with the oldest sibling at Bridge on applicable Wednesdays.

This is my second year at Bridge! Last year, I had the good fortune of being a long term substitute in grade 2 and previously taught in Burlington, MA.
I have a Bachelors (Elementary Ed. & English) and Masters degree from Lesley University. with a Masters is in Moderate Disabilities Pre k-8 (with a specialization in Autism Spectrum Disorders). Playground supervision begins at 8:15am. Due to the large number of students on the playground at one time, the structure, web, and climbing wall are closed in the morning. The musical instruments, standing seesaw, and swings are open.
