MESSAGES FROM MICHELLE

  • Take the time to nominate a fellow colleague for Teacher of the Year
  • Bells are ringing inside - still trying to fix
  • Please be on time to pick up your students from lunch, recess & FAPES. Even one minute late is disruptive. Depending on your grade level; you walk should be walking students out to recess, or you meet them at the recess doors. Grades 3, 4, & 5 should arrive 2-3 minutes early in the cafeteria to assist with students. Grades K, 1 & 2 should be assisting their students in the lunch line. If you are running late, ask a colleague to help out and call the office. I totally understand things happen and willing to help out.
  • Parent working as a substitutes - as you know substitutes are difficult to obtain in all departments. You can rest assured that I have spoken to them about professionalism and confidentiality. See me if you have any concerns.
  • October 19th BLOCK times change - 30 minutes inside & 30 minutes outside - please plan with your grade level teams and confirm with playground para-professionals
  • Clothing Sale every other year - I will store items for you
  • RED WINGS game on January 17th - Sunday before Martin Luther King Jr. Day. This is a PTA community event - more details coming soon
  • PTA - full time $150.00 stipend
  • PTA - SW, Speech, Interventionist $75.00 stipend
  • PTA - $150.00 per classroom to offset field trip expenses
  • Working on a new format for daily announcements
