Student Survey
Each year for at least the past three years we have had our students take a Student Connectedness Survey. The survey gives us a feel for student thoughts on school-related perceptions. Our building goal to increase student connectedness is part of our Teacher Growth and Development plans.
* Increase positive responses (quite connected and extremely connected) on question 5 on Student Connectedness Survey (How connected do you feel to adults at your school?) from 50% (Spring 2017) to 55% (Spring 2018).
Students results from the past three years are as follows:
2014-2015: 45%
2015-2016: 50%
2016-2017: 50%
2017-2018: 55% GOAL
On Monday (Tuesday and Wednesday if needed for make-up/backup) please discuss this survey with your Advisory students and ask them to complete the survey with thoughtful intentions and honest answers. You will find a QR code in your mailbox to share, I will email the code to you as well is you want to display it electronically for your students.
Let me know if you have questions.

Before School Tutoring
Staff,
We are attempting to run before school tutoring this last Month or so of school. The hope is that we have this up and running at the start of the school year next year. Math, Language Arts, Social Studies, and Science teachers were given passes for the program in their mailboxes last week. We thought we'd start there. If you need more passes please see Charles Cooper. We are running the program through our community school. In CPT this week perhaps you can identify students that could benefit from this and invite them. The program will be ran in the ISS room from 7:00-7:45 am.
Please see Charles or myself with questions.
Thank you,
Kelly
