KSA Testing at Ludlow High School
The Kentucky Summative Assessment (formerly K-PREP), the required state testing for students, will take place at LHS May 8-15. Even though Grades 7, 8, 10, and 11 are the only ones to take the test, the daily schedule for other students is impacted. Off-Campus students who attend Enzweiler and Gateway should see the adjusted schedule each day, as shown below.
Parents, we ask for your help! Please make sure your student gets a full night of sleep, eats a healthy breakfast, and is at school on time each day. Since testing is online, we also ask that students fully charge their laptops every night AND bring both their laptop and charger to school each day. This will help testing run smoothly! We appreciate your help!
KSA Testing at Mary A. Goetz Elementary
The Kentucky Summative Assessment (formerly K-PREP), the required state testing for students, will take place at MAry A. Goetz Elementary School May 11-18. Parents, we ask for your help! Please make sure your child gets a full night of sleep, eats a healthy breakfast, and is at school on time each day. We appreciate your help!
Panther Pride Scholarships Due May 11
It's Panther Pride Scholarship time! We award one $200 Panther Pride Scholarship to a member of each grade (K-12) every year. In an effort to encourage students to stay in Ludlow Schools through the 12th grade, the scholarships will accumulate until they become a senior and earn their Ludlow High School diploma. Completed applications are due in each school’s office by May 11. Paper applications were sent home last week with students, have been emailed to parent/guardians, and can also be found HERE. Extra copies are also located in each school’s office.
Winners are announced at each school’s awards ceremony.
Exam Exemptions
LHS Parents, please see the detailed email from Mr. Caudill regarding the schedule for exams and how exam exemptions work. This was sent out on May 17, 2023. Students receiving an exemption should also have brought home a letter regarding this.
