So, the sun is shining. Weather is getting warmer. There’s a less than likely chance of rain. It’s time to dust off those jogging shoes and get working out again. Lack motivation? How does a horde of rabid starving zombies chasing sound? Motivating right?

There’s a cast of secondary characters, moving the story along and adding bits of humor keeping your run interesting. As you run, you collecting items like a bat, bottles of water or documents. After your workout, you will distribute your supplies to parts of the compound to keep it running smoothly and everyone alive. Zombies! Run is $3.99.

Game On!!
Hey guys! So this week I thought I would talk about some of my favorite apps to play with on my phone. Lately my new obsession is the Fast and the Furious game. You get to street race, drag race, and drift too! It is so much fun. The downside of it however, is that it drains your battery very quickly so it is one you play at home with your phone plugged in. Another app that has caught my attention is called Smove. This game is played on a tick tack toe board and you must collect these coins without getting hit by objects that come in all different directions. It is pretty simple but it is fun to get your brain going.
I think the game that I really have been into lately is this game called Snow Roll. This game is incredibly addictive; it is like the new Flappy Bird. The point of the game is to get the highest score you can by tapping the penguin on a ball and every time you tap the screen the penguin changes direction. What makes it difficult is that there are obstacles and a bear that you must avoid otherwise your snowball (which you are balancing on) breaks. Although these apps are amazing, but my all time favorite app is.... Candy Crush! I am on a 200 and something level and I am stuck so I deleted it. But besides that it is an amazing game. This is how I pass the time when I need to relax from all my study breaks and I highly recommend all of these.
Some changes to CTSL... A Letter from our Director
Dear Collegia members,
The student development division, of which Commuter and Transfer Student Life is a part, is reorganizing to better ensure that all students have access to the fullness of a Jesuit education at Seattle University. Context for that change was given in an email to students on April 16th from Michele Murray, Vice President of the Division. In that email an invitation was extended to all students to attend these town halls to learn more about the changes: Thursday, May 7, from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. in Wyckoff Auditorium and Thursday, May 7, from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. in Bannan 501.
We know you will have questions about this and we want to answer them. You will soon be invited to a town hall for your Collegium that will have two focus areas:
1. Clarifying the structural changes happening with Commuter and Transfer Student Life and the Collegia Program. This includes merging our department with another department to create a new functional area: The Center for Orientation and Transition Programs. Additionally, some of the collegia are being re-purposed to serve students in different ways.
2. Gathering ideas from you about how these changes can be implemented in ways that take into account the diversity of student needs. One example is a new Welcome/Transition Center that will be in the Student Center. We want to know how a one-stop resource center could best serve students and what name for it would be appealing. We also want to hear from you about how the continuing collegia can best support you.
We hope you can attend the town halls. We will be doing newsletters after the town halls to summarize what occurred and share additional information about the reorganization. We also may have additional conversations or possibly some "think tanks" depending on what surfaces at the town meetings.
Your voice does matter. We hope you will join us in these opportunities for conversation.
