Langston's Letters
November 28 - December 2
A Note from the Principal
Dear Langston Hughes Family,
It is my hope that your holiday was filled with family, fun, and all the food you could eat. I hope that you had an opportunity to give thanks to those in your life who help to make it a little brighter.
Last week we had a chance to make life a little brighter for our students and families with Welcome to Wakanda Week. I would like to thank the families who came out and participated in the community dance class and movie night. The dance class was so much fun that we have decided to make it a regular event. The next class will take place on Monday December 5th. It too, will be free and open to all students registered at PS 233 and their family members. We are also thinking about making movie night a regular event. Stay tuned for more details.
The children were so excited to go and see the movie. It sparked interesting conversation and I look forward to reading their responses to the questions that were posed. I hope you had a chance to see the movie as well.
Have a wonderful week!
